DOUBLE PARADIDDLES & SIX-STROKE ROLLS EXERCISE
This exercise serves as a "Part 2" for last week's paradiddle & five-stroke roll exercise. This one is designed to develop the ability to move freely between a roll rudiment and a hand-to-hand sticking rudiment. By using the double paradiddle, we're forced to start each rudiment with both the left and right hands, which ultimately improves dexterity. The end goal is to have the sticking patterns fully ingrained to the point that you start to hear the accents as a melody and can play either of these two rudiments at will.
Click the button above via your iOS device to download the SYNKD rhythm chain. If it's your first time downloading and importing files for rhythm chains with SYNKD, follow the instructions from this blog post.
If you experience issues with downloading the .mid file via Google Drive, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen, select "Open In" and then "Save to Files" to choose a destination. We recommend creating a folder for SYNKD rhythm chains.
